The first attempts to produce a spirit from grain mash took place in 2000. A collaboration with the Rosengarten Brewery in Einsiedeln was a natural fit, as one of their flagship products is the widely renowned Maisgold beer. The distillate from twice-distilled mash is fine and already exhibits the typical character of the future whisky. Further maturation in used red wine barriques for three years ultimately completes the unmistakable flavor of TWO RAVENS whisky.
