Gragnano has always been considered the capital of pasta. The Pastificio di Martino was founded in 1912, and even today, the finest 54cm-long spaghetti is still made using traditional methods and packaged by hand. They are also slightly thicker than their shorter counterparts, and the surface is particularly rough. It doesn't get any better than this.
