When you think of rum, Australia doesn't necessarily spring to mind, but the continent boasts a long tradition. Plantation hasn't lost on this. This rum matured for 13 years at the Beenleigh Distillery, then the barrels selected by Alexandre Gabriel made the journey to Charente, where they received a one-year finish in ex-Cognac-Ferrand casks.
