We combine the finest raw material that WiesenObst can offer with the most elaborate production:
The rare Champagne pears now grow on giant trees that are over 100 years old.
The harvest by the small farmers is hand-picked in order to ensure that the complex ripening
of the pears in our special process of “sweating” the aromas into fragrance
and taste to its climax.
After pressing the champagne roast pear, we convert the existing fructose
through the gentle first fermentation into alcohol, the sensory diversity is formed.
The wine is then bottled in champagne and fermented for a second time.
After at least three years on the lees, further typical notes of the
Bottle fermentation and maturation, often reminiscent of brioche bread.
It is time to uncork the bottles and clean the champagne pear from the alcohol
by vacuum distillation gently and completely, only the delicate
Aroma must be preserved.
