The winery is known for its beautiful rosé. The Maison Mirabeau winery was founded in 2009 by Jeany and Stephen Cronk. The estate covers 20 hectares, of which 14 hectares are planted predominantly with Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle.
Tasting notes
Mirabeau Dry Gin is essentially a classic London (Dry) Gin. Yet everything is a little different here. The 100% grape alcohol that Maison Mirabeau uses as its base alcohol gives it its soft and delicately fruity palate. Lemons and coriander lend it a subtle citrus freshness, while iris root and angelica provide light floral and earthy notes, underpinned by the floral hints of the sparingly added rose, jasmine, and lavender blossoms. Bay leaves, thyme, and rosemary complete the aromatic palette with typical Provençal herbal notes. The harmonious fusion of these typical components gives this classic dry gin a pleasantly mild character that is wonderfully enjoyed neat. A must-try!
