Organic black tea from Ceylon
An exclusive treat from traditional Sri Lanka. Invigorating, round, and robust in flavor, it will captivate even the most discerning tea connoisseur.
Ceylon tea refers to a type of tea grown in the region formerly known as Ceylon, now Sri Lanka. Ceylon teas are rich and relatively resistant to hard water. They are highly prized in English tea blends and are usually enjoyed with a little milk.
The three major tea-growing regions in Sri Lanka are Uva, Dimbula, and Nuwara Eliya. The best quality teas come from steep elevations of 1,200 meters with sufficient humidity and rainfall, as the tea plant does not tolerate waterlogging. Our Ceylon Sunrise is organically grown and of the highest quality.
