About Single Malt
Fruity honey notes accompanied by a very subtle vanilla scent. A mild and floral flavor with aromas of honey and vanilla, complemented by light spicy notes. The finish is dry and robust with pleasant caramel.
About Aberlour
Aberlour states that it was founded in 1879. However, there was already a distillery here in 1826. After a major fire, it was rebuilt in 1898. Its name means mouth of the Lour. Not far away is the Lyne of Ruthrie waterfall. There was once a spring there, valued even by the Druids.
