Plenty of straightforward Cabernet aromas with red bell pepper, berry fruit, and the varietal's typical, slightly herbaceous-peppery notes. On the palate, plenty of juice and power, with distinct, robust tannins, a full-bodied finish, and a fair amount of sweet extract. Unaffected and honest.
Eye of Water
In the late 1990s, Dieter Meier purchased a 380-hectare vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina, about half of which is still planted today. The vines receive optimal sunlight at an altitude of 1,000 meters, despite enormous temperature fluctuations between day and night. Ideal for organic farming.
