Until recently, Giovanni Chiappini produced wines only for his own consumption and for friends and family. However, thanks to the 100-point rating given by Wine Enthusiast for Guado de Gemoli, the winery became famous overnight. At the last "vinitaly" trade fair in Verona, it had the most visitors to the stand for wines from Tuscany.
This cuvée is so magnificent and fascinating; we've rarely tasted such quality from Bolgheri in southern Tuscany. A truly cinematic wine, and simply "world class."
