The Clos Floridène vineyard in Pujols-sur-Cirón in the Graves region was acquired by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu in 1982. Through successive purchases of vineyards in the best locations, a high standard of quality was established. The name of the estate is derived from the first names of the two founders.Green-gold color, intense aroma with fruity notes of white peach, lemon, grapefruit, and roasted and grilled nuances. Powerful and fresh aromas of juicy fruit, with the density and structure of a great white wine.
Denis Dubourdieu
Denis Dubourdieu was a professor of oenology at the University of Bordeaux and a pioneer of dry white Bordeaux wines. Since his death in 2016, his widow, Florence, and their two sons have managed the Château Doisy-Daëne, Clos Floridene, Château Reynon, Château Cantegril, and Château Haura wineries.
