Leone uses the juice of sun-ripened currants for its Ribes pastilles. Their sweet and sour flavor is also evident when sucking on the pastilles.

About Leone
The origins of Pastiglie Leone, one of the oldest confectionery manufacturers in Europe, date back to 1857. Luigi Leone founded the Turin company and began producing the thirst-quenching and digestive pastilles. One year later, he was purveyor to the royal household and the Turin nobility. The small, beautiful packages are now coveted by candy lovers and collectors around the world and have already received numerous awards. The famous colored Leone pastilles are made from purely natural ingredients and only with genuine essential oils.
