Mount Gay
Mount Gay rum has been documented as being produced in Barbados since 1703, making it the oldest (and finest) rum in the world. Depending on the variety, it matures for two to twelve years in oak barrels from the Jim Beam whiskey distillery. The name comes from Mount Gay in the St. Lucy area in the north of the island.
