Solera 5 Dark Rum 5 years

Litchquor Ltd. is dedicated to rum from Mauritius. They bring various products to market. One of these is Gold of Mauritius. The youngest members of the Bestel family, who have lived on the island since around 1800, began buying the molasses left over from the island's sugar production and distilling it. This gradually resulted in products of the highest quality. Gold of Mauritius Rum is specially made from a blend of molasses rums and freshly pressed juice. Solera 5 is a blend of different age reserves aged in used and new oak barrels. After blending, it is further aged for 6-8 months in port wine barrels.

Amber in color. Intoxicating aromas of exotic fruits, caramel, coffee, milk chocolate, and nuts. Sweet, fruity, vanilla, and full-bodied on the palate. Long, aromatic finish.
