The Kümin family has been operating viticulture and wine trading in Freienbach since 1902, now in its fourth generation. Our family business, with 20 employees, is passionately committed to the quality of our products every day. This is how we create regional, quality wines with character from our traditional vineyards around Upper Lake Zurich and in Quinten. Our vineyards are cultivated and pressed on our own vines. Treat yourself to a moment of peace and enjoy our region.
The vineyard
Quinten on Lake Walen is a special place. Nestled between the Churfirsten mountains, this village is only accessible by boat or on foot. The steep mountain slopes protect the vineyards from cold winds, and the rocks retain the sun's warmth. Palm trees and figs thrive here, too. The grapes achieve high Oechsle values year after year, and the barren limestone soils give the wine a rich, spicy character.
