The Schwarz Rot displays a deep, intense interplay of flavors. It accompanies a spicy main course such as grilled meat, but also playfully complements an entire meal.
2019 produced deep-colored (!) red wines that were exceptionally dense and rich in extract, with wonderful tannin content and a great acid structure. Thanks to the cool night temperatures from late August onwards, as planned, the grapes for the white and red wines were able to ripen optimally without undesirable side effects such as fungal infections or rot, preserving the acidity that is so important for fully ripe grapes. Pure elegance and harmony, without appearing lean or fat!
