This wine is an excellent accompaniment to light and dark meats and spicy pasta dishes. Decanting 1-2 hours before drinking is recommended.
Tasting notes
The intense ruby-red wine boasts a very complex bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry, and plum, along with subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is juicy and full-bodied, with a dense structure, distinct fruit, and very well-integrated tannins. An impressive, well-balanced wine with a very long finish.
