Some of the vineyards are old and some are newly planted. The new vines were selected using the "mass selection" method, which involves choosing cuttings from particularly regionally typical old plants from historic vineyards. This process ensures a certain diversity of characteristics and a particular typicity.

The wine goes perfectly with game dishes, grilled meat and mature cheeses.
Tasting notes
The intense ruby-red wine displays a complex bouquet with aromas of cherry and currant, as well as subtle spicy notes and floral nuances. On the palate, it presents itself with dense fruit and a harmoniously integrated tannin structure that lends a pleasant softness. A wine with a powerful yet very elegant presence and a long, persistent finish.
