Picked in the traditional tea gardens on the southern slopes of the Himalayas. A Darjeeling with its characteristic sweet spiciness.

Darjeeling is one of the most renowned tea varieties. The region around the Indian city of Darjeeling is the center of Bengali tea cultivation; it was also the starting point of a caravan route to Tibet and is still known today, especially for the usually very high-quality tea of ​​the same name.

In contrast to the commercially available Darjeelings, we only use tea of ​​the highest classification SFTGFOP1 (Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) for our Purple Breeze.

Brew with hot (95-100°C) water (up to max. 3 dl), let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
