With Knut Hansen 0.0, the two founders Martin and Kaspar have created an alcohol-free gin alternative that dispenses with the alcohol, but by no means lacks the flavor. The same 14 botanicals as in the original gin are carefully macerated and distilled by hand. The alcohol is then removed from the finished spirits in a complex process – what remains is pure aromatic power. These intense botanical essences form the basis for Knut Hansen 0.0% and give it a scent that, upon opening the bottle, immediately recalls its big gin brother. Speaking of the bottle: The massive stoneware bottle has always played a significant role at Knut Hansen – accordingly, the team brought in real design luminaries from the blood agency, who gave the lighter Knut its fresh look. It’s already visually clear: It contains 100 percent Knut Hansen – but 0 percent alcohol.
