A very classic example of Cabernet Sauvignon from the North Coast. Uncomplicated, appealing, and guaranteed to be a pleasure to drink. An excellent everyday wine that will leave you wanting a second glass.
Dark ruby red. The nose reveals dark cherries, a hint of cedarwood, and a touch of red and black currant. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine displays taut acidity and relatively soft tannins. The aromatic persistence is quite long.

Hess Collection
Donald Hess grew up in Bern. After a successful career with a brewery and Valser water, he sold it and invested in wineries in California and Argentina. The Hess Collection winery in California is located on Mount Vedeer, where Donald Hess originally searched for water and discovered wine in 1978. Today, the winery is run by his daughter Sabrina and son-in-law Tim. The high elevation guarantees a very special microclimate with cooler slopes and often some fog in the mornings. From the beginning, the Hess family was a pioneer in sustainable viticulture and was also the first winery to receive Napa Green Certification.
