But what does the Alpine herdsman's cow have to do with an Alpine pig? Quite simply: Like the cow, the Alpine pig spends the entire summer on a Graubünden alpine pasture. While the cow's milk—which has previously grazed lush grass and fresh herbs—is processed into cheese, the Alpine pig enjoys the byproduct, the whey, as additional feed. And so, in harmony with nature, Alpine pork salsa is created.

All Alpahirt pigs come from Graubünden. The animals are fed exclusively with feed from the farm and the alpine pastures.
Curing salt and sugar stay outside
Only natural and uncompromising ingredients are used for the meat products – no additives, no allergens.
Ingredients
Mountain pork, wine, alpine salt, spices, natural casing made from beef intestine.
No curing agents such as nitrite and nitrate / no additives / no allergens.
