The advantage of the négoc principle can be explained by the Saint-Chinian, which was produced exclusively for us: this unique appellation is located on three completely different soils – black slate, sandstone, and limestone, all with very similar climatic conditions. The wine, made from Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, thrives on the fact that the different grape varieties grow on different terroirs and then come together. The result: a complex wine with a delicate, southern character and a mineral terroir note. Dark berries with spicy notes and fine roasted aromas on the nose. On the palate, it's juicy, powerful, beautifully spicy, and flowing.
About Hecht & Bannier
Gregory Hecht and François Bannier have been producing wines together since 2001. They purchase the best barrels from the Languedoc and Roussillon, age them in various cellars, and blend them into their cuvées: elegant Syrah wines as well as powerful Grenache and Mourvédre wines.
